Bob called me and told me that he wanted his sister to come spend Christmas day with him and his family. So, since John was at work and we had already celebrated our Christmas together I decided it'd be Awesome to go spend Christmas day with Bob and his family. I wanted to see Julie and the kid's, plus Brooke's son Mason. We had a fabulous day together! Julie's parents came for breakfast Christmas morning and it was good to see them and all of us be together. We took pictures and then I went to our cousin Carol's house for Christmas dinner with her and Larry and their family. It was the first Christmas that Bob and I had spent together in many years. I was standing in Carol's front room when I saw a red truck pull into her drive way. I go, oh it's Bob! When I went to the door he asked me if he could talk to me in private so I closed their front door and stepped out onto the porch. Bob had me a Christmas card with a $50.00 bill inside of it and gave each of my kid's some money and thanked me for coming down to spend Christmas with him. It meant alot to him that I went down to be with him and his family. I told him he didn't have to do anything for me or my family but he insisted saying, it was the least he could do with the beautiful collage that I'd given him and Julie for Christmas and the $ that I'd given their kid's. He stepped inside and visited for a little bit with Carol & Larry and their 2 daughter's Michelle & Melissa and their family's and Carol's brother Mark and then he left. I was so touched that he came over there that way showing how much he loved me and appreciated what I had done for him and his family. I'm so grateful that I spent last Christmas with my brother since he's now passed, it was the last Christmas we'll ever spend together. He was a very sweet guy with a huge heart and we loved each other so much. A special bond that only Bob & I understood. This picture is of last Christmas with Bob that Carol took of us.
