Thoughts

Bob was an outstanding football player playing for both Burlington and Carthage and got MVP, he was so proud of his football day's!! :-) He was excellent in all sports even basketball and baseball. I remember going to some of his baseball games when he was very young. When he'd get up to bat they'd say...step back Phillip's up to bat! LOL He was a very aggressive team player no matter what game he was playing as he was out to WIN!!! :-) I remember one of his Carthage football clippings front page headlines read...Phillip's takes Warsaw single handedly! He got a kick out of that and used to tell me how many touchdowns he'd get in one game and how far he ran the ball etc. He was so distraught that all of his medal's, ribbons, and clippings somehow disappeared out of our Grandma Phillip's house when he lived with her back then. I sure would have loved to seen it!!!! :-) He was #1 as a Star football player and as a Brother!!!! As Bob would say...Yeah Baby!!!!! LOL

WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years, But start out bravely with a gallant smile, and for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty day's, But fill each waking hour in useful way's, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near, And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky!

"I'M ALWAYS WITH YOU SIS" Sis, if you get to missing me just call my name. Remember we used to play that Monopoly game? I know your life will never be the same. I'm here in Heaven with mom and dad and granny P. It's beautiful up here, someday you'll see. You were the BEST SISTER there could ever be. Sis, you meant the world to me. I made my peace with God before I passed away. I know we'll be together again someday. I didn't want to go yet, I wanted to stay. Don't worry about me Sis because I'm OK! I don't like seeing you cry, what more can I say? Thank You for comforting me before I died. I tried to hang on, but my hands were tied. That trip to the hospital was a helluva ride. Didn't want to leave you Sis, you know I tried. Brooke sure did make a beautiful bride. Thank You Sis for always being there for your bro. You were a wonderful sister and I loved you so. I know finding out I had cancer was an awful blow. I loved you un-conditionally, I want you to know. I didn't want to leave you, didn't wanna go. You were always the glue. Do you remember we used to play the game "Clue" ? Sis, I love you and "I'll always be with you" Love, Bob P.S. Margie & Bobby 4 ever and ever!
